Shooting the 2024 Arkansas State IDPA Championship

Gunjock LLC founder and President Sean Young recently competed in the 2024 Arkansas State IDPA Championship, presented by Wilson Combat and hosted by the Central Arkansas Shooters Association (CASA). The match took place on April 20, 2024, at the scenic CASA range in Perryville, Arkansas, and drew some of the top IDPA competitors from across the country. Sean represented Gunjock in the Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) division and shot alongside friends from the Collin County IDPA squad.

“This was a really fun match hosted by our friends at CASA up in Arkansas. I have to say that this is one of the most beautiful range locations I’ve seen since moving to the South in 2021. The CASA range is awesome.

We had some damp weather on the day our squad shot. However, the range footing in all the bays was excellent, so the weather really did not have much of an impact. It was a lot of fun shooting with the Collin County IDPA (CCIDPA) squad (aka the PCC squad). I was able to stitch together a mostly mistake-free match, and my score at the end stacked up well against some of the best competitors in the country who made their way to AR to shoot this match.
